Gideon Pfeffer graduated Syracuse University in May of 2002 with a degree in Finance.  He immediately moved to Michigan to pursue an opportunity to set-up a mortgage company.  In December of 2002, after having lived in the suburb of Troy for 6 months, Gideon moved to the city of Detroit.  Gideon grew up in New York, and lived in Manhattan for two summers. He had always been passionate for the urban lifestyle.   

Upon moving to Detroit, Gideon became friends with individuals working and living in the city of Detroit.  He was quickly exposed to the ongoing Renaissance that had been occurring for some time.  He focused his market efforts for his residential mortgage business towards the city and became a great advocate for the city and its residential rebirth. 

Gideon currently markets his business services to the downtown residential development through his newly created satellite company “the Detroit Mortgage Group”, and has become a preferred lender for a variety of residential condominium developments.  While he keeps an office for his company, the Premium Mortgage Group, LLC in Livonia, Gideon plans to open a satellite office of the Detroit Mortgage Group in Detroit’s Central Business District in 2007. 

In his spare time, Gideon works to invest in Detroit’s neighborhood communities by buying and renovating blighted single family homes throughout the city.  Gideon is also currently working on development teams concerning projects for the redevelopment of vacant buildings in Detroit’s Central Business District into residential and/or commercial units.  He was married downtown at the Detroit Yacht Club to his wife Jaime in May of 2006.
