Somerset CityLoft is a one-weekend-a-month shopping event featuring pop-up shops from more than 40 Somerset Collection retailers located at 1261 Woodward, across the street on the former J.L. Hudson’s Site atop the Premier Parking garage Downtown Detroit Days are back. On the site more are more than 20 local merchants and artists including Good People Popcorn, The Peacock Room, and Common Threads.

Shoppers receive a free gift with every purchase over $25 and a $10 Somerset Collection Gift Card with every $100  spent. In addition to the great shopping there will be a free Sock Hop on Thursday, August 16 from 6:30-9 p.m. featuring a live performance by the Teen Angels, free food, classic cars, and prizes for the best 50s wear to commemorate “cruising Woodward.”

On Thursday and Friday, El Guapo food truck will be outside so shoppers can even grab a bite on the go.
