The non-profit Detroit RiverFront Conservancy is pleased to present the third annual Shimmer on the River gala fundraiser on September 5, 2012 at the Roostertail to support the construction as well as the on-going operations, maintenance, security and programming of the Detroit riverfront and associated green spaces. The Detroit RiverFront Conservancy was founded in early 2003 with the mission of developing public access to Detroit’s Riverfront and serving as a catalyst for eco-nomic development.
Shimmer features delectable dining and one-of-a-kind entertainment. With the Roostertail as the venue and the spectacular Detroit river as the backdrop, guests will experience four distinct event areas: Water, Earth, Fire and Air. All of these elements will bring synergy to the event for an evening of excitement and surprises to marvel the senses.
