Welcome to North Rosedale Park
The perfect community for those looking for more than just a home
North Rosedale Park is a quiet and close neighborhood with an emphasis on community involvement and care for one another. Despite its convenient location between many freeways, North Rosedale Park is peaceful. The neighborhood is made up of 1700 homes on spacious plots of land lined by lush, shady, tree-lined streets. Home styles range from large, single-family houses to charming townhome communities. North Rosedale Park is the only neighborhood in Detroit that offers
its own community center.
There are ample opportunities for North Rosedale Park citizens to get involved throughout the year, including the Safety Committee, Programming Department, and voluntary historic preservation.

Local Lifestyle
North Rosedale Park is a quiet, historic, and close-knit community. The neighborhood is located centrally within the Detroit metro area with easy access to freeways, making commutes a breeze. Days off are spent relaxing at one of many local coffee shops, spending time in the park, or taking a walk down a tree-lined street. Most everyday errands can be taken care of without straying too far away from home, but when trips to the inner-city are in order, downtown Detroit is only 10 miles away.
Dining, Entertainment, & Shopping
So much more than just a neighborhood, North Rosedale Park is home to several locally-owned businesses and restaurants serving up hometown classics and new creations from the 21st century. A great way to start the day is at
Public Square Detroit, a coffee house recently opened in 2021. Already a local favorite, they have perfected their craft with unique concoctions like lattes with housemade syrups and fresh-baked pastries. Another sweet spot is
Elias Donuts. So much more than just a donut shop, mid-day meals like wings, sandwiches, and cheeseburgers are also popular.
A healthier option can be found at
Detroit Vegan Soul West. After losing a loved one to cancer, two business partners adopted a vegan lifestyle and began playing with soul food classics to “veganize” them. The food was a winner, and in 2012, Vegan Soul Food was open to the public. The North Rosedale Park location is the second in Detroit. Some of their best-sellers include their vegan soul food plate and the tofu “catfish.”
North Rosedale Park residents enjoy spending quieter days at
Pages Bookshop. A long-standing institution, Pages also holds workshops, group readings, and special guest appearances by their featured authors. Pages also sell a
special book printed in honor of the centennial anniversary of the North Rosedale Park neighborhood founding.
